Madison Seminary - August '09
This was our first investigation of the Madison Seminary, aka the Old Ohio Cottage. Below is just a few of the pictures gathered from the visit, however we took hundreds. The evening started off at seven o'clock, with a walk-through of the entire building in order to establish good locations for video cameras, audio recorders, and measure temperature and EMF readings. We took pictures of the walk-through and experienced a strange happening in the original part of the Seminary. On the second floor of the seminary, Jason's camera locked up and froze. His camera would not even shut off...we had to literally take the batteries out in order for it to reset. We have had this camera for a few years and never had anything like this ever happen. Upon arrival to the Seminary, we had set up a location with our equipment, where we could meet back at and upload photos and audio recordings. Another incident took place after the initial walk-through at this location. Jenelle had attempted to upload all of the photographs and video she had captured during the walk-through when the teams computer froze up and erased all of Jenelle's data. Again, this was something that had never happened. After the investigation, which ended at about midnight, we went through all of the evidence, over a period of days, and we came up with multiple photographs of paranormal activity, including a full body apparition, which can be seen on the home page, many orbs, and a few EVP's. We will be visiting the Seminary again in the near future....... |

  Above is a picture of Jay doing a walk-through of the Seminary before it gets dark. He is snapping pictures during the walk-through, trying to catch any paranormal activity.  Here is a picture of Jennifer and Jamie looking into one of the many rooms here at this location. To the right in the picture you can see the light green wall, this is the enterance to where the private/secret rooms are.  The above picture is on the top floor of the Seminary, where the secret/private door leads to multiple small strange-shaped rooms. This picture is one of those rooms.  The above picture is in the same hallway as Jay, but the opposite side. Note the few orbs that are in the picture.  Above is a picture of Jenelle in the secret/private area on the top floor of the Seminary. Notice the orbs.  This is the main stair case that goes to all the floors here.  In the picture you can see two lights in the sky, Jamie took this picture and took multiple ones proceeding this to attempt to get the lights again, but did not succeed.  This picture of Jamie is on the top floor of the Seminary. Jamie is taking multiple pictures as well as looking for EMF ratings.  Here is Jay, still taking picture, on the top floor of the Seminary in what can be considered to be a private or secret area that was marked with a small pantry style door.
